My lil boo that I go home to every day <3

I haven't been feeling that great about my drawings lately after I ended my hiatus, but then I found this blog on tumblr that was dedicated to artists and their problems. It inspired me to try something different.

It's realism! But it's not. XD It's...stylized realism? I guess? XD Idk. Look at those ears, though! I've never done "detailed" hair like that before...

I showed this to my parents and sister (this means, btw, that I'm REALLY proud of it) and they went bonkers over it. Mom printed it out at work and hung it on the fridge and dad showed it to someone at his work, who said they would "hire me in a minute" to draw her dog.

Problem is, it took me about 30 minutes XD;; Is that bad? I feel like it is for some reason...;;

Jack-boo gives me so much joy and inspiration all the time so I'll no doubt draw him more. <3 I love you, shmee. Yer the best lil doggie ever~
