Description

One of my pet peeves, for srs. =___=
Listen, kiddos. I don't mind if you admire the way it looks, or ask what it means, or anything like that. Nope, this stamp is strictly for the people who think anyone can write it willy-nilly.

My good sirs! Here's a little questionnaire to help better understand what I'm getting across...

DO YOU KNOW:
What Kana is?
What Hiragana is?
What Katakana is?
What Kanji is?
How to say what you're writing?

What's that? You don't?
Then you probably shouldn't be trying to imitate it.
That's a good rule of thumb right there.

I think the most overlooked thing about writing Japanese is the fact that there's a thing called Stroke Order. It's disrespectful if you go out of order. Yessir. That's bad. I can guarantee you that any person who tries to copy a character is screwing everything up. [The program I use to learn Japanese will mark you down for incorrect stroke order, and you'll have to do it again. Not lying there.]

It just bugs the crap out of me when people draw something and put obviously incorrect, blocky and sloppily done kana next to it.
"IT'S THEIR NAME."
So write it in English.
"IT'S FROM AN ANIME."
So write it in English.
"IT LOOKS SO COOL THOUGH."
Write. It. In. English.
Either write it in English, or sit down and learn it like me.

Yes! Everyone needs to start from somewhere.
Hell, I'm not fully fluent in it yet. I know maybe...7 kanji. But I know both tables of Kana for the most part. Sometimes I need to look back at them, because let's face it, there's a lot to remember. But if you don't know what the hell these k words are, that's a problem. =__=

I'm just reeeeeeeeeeeal sick of the tracing. It's disgraceful imo. D< Just don't do it, folks. Don't do it, or learn it.
